Full-Service AI Studio | Engineer-Led Since 2016
OpsAmp means operations amplifier: a systems partner for businesses that need the website, lead flow, and internal operation to work as one reliable machine.

The story
My name is Rich Toy. I started OpsAmp in 2016 after 15 years building automated systems for manufacturing plants, defense contractors, and law enforcement agencies. In those environments, there was no version of "mostly working." Systems ran or they did not.
That standard followed me into every business engagement that came after. At a behavioral health and addiction treatment marketing agency, I served as Head of Web Development. Every client depended entirely on inbound digital leads. If the site did not rank and the lead flow did not work, they had no business. We built a standardized development engine, entity-driven SEO architecture for multi-location networks, and conversion-focused user experiences that helped the agency scale from six figures to seven. One framework. Deployed consistently.
Then six years - and counting - embedded inside a family-owned real estate investment firm. Not as a consultant who delivered a report and moved on. Inside the operation, accountable to profit and loss. That engagement more than any other is where OpsAmp's approach to ongoing partnership comes from.
What I kept seeing across every engagement was the same pattern: a website that looked good but was not ranking or converting. Leads falling through because no system was actually routing them. AI being experimented with but not running inside the operation. The gap between having tools and having a system that runs is an implementation problem. Closing it is what OpsAmp builds.
Most agencies build deliverables. They hand them over and move on. What I kept seeing was that the pieces never connected - the website did not feed the CRM, the CRM did not trigger the follow-up. OpsAmp exists to close that gap.
The background
Not a startup that found a market. A business built by staying accountable inside real operations.
Automated systems for manufacturing plants, defense contractors, and law enforcement agencies. Systems ran or they did not. The cost of failure was immediate. That standard still shapes how OpsAmp approaches every build.
Started OpsAmp as an engineering-led operational systems company. The distinction between building infrastructure and delivering deliverables was intentional from day one.
OpsAmp partnered with a healthcare marketing agency focused on addiction treatment and behavioral health. Built a standardized development engine, entity-driven SEO architecture for multi-location networks, and conversion-engineered user experiences. Over 40 high-intent landing experiences deployed under one unified framework. Agency scaled from six figures to seven.
OpsAmp's longest continuing engagement, going on six years. A family-owned real estate investment company brought OpsAmp in as an embedded operational partner, accountable to profit and loss. Not a consulting contract. Inside the operation, responsible for keeping the marketing pipeline running.
Before AI was a service category, AI was already running inside operations OpsAmp was accountable for. Not a demo. Not a pilot. Infrastructure that had to work reliably, day after day.
Same standards. Better tools. Full-service AI studio - websites, SEO, lead flow, and AI operations infrastructure - all built on the same engineering foundation.
How I approach the work
Most projects end at handoff. OpsAmp builds systems we stay accountable for. If something breaks or needs to change as your business grows, that is still our problem.
The real estate engagement is the clearest example. Six years as an embedded operational partner, accountable to profit and loss. That is a different relationship than a consultant who scopes, delivers, and moves on.
AI has been running inside OpsAmp client operations since 2021. Not as a feature tacked on. As infrastructure. That experience changes how we evaluate what to build and what not to build.
Outside the work
My wife Abigail and I are travel content creators. We spend a lot of time exploring places the way they actually are, not the way they are marketed to tourists. It is a good reminder that the best systems are built around how people actually behave.
